Bioadaptive streaming personalizes music playback based on listener physiology, optimizing for focus, relaxation, or cognitive stimulation.
HRV (Heart Rate Variability) is a marker of autonomic nervous system activity. Its relationship to musical timing stems from its impact on attentional focus and internal pulse perception.
EEG (Electroencephalography) measures electrical activity from the brain, capturing cognitive states such as focus, creativity, and flow.
Haptic feedback uses tactile vibrations to communicate timing cues, reinforcing sensorimotor integration.
Declaration of Original Authorship for “Entertrainment” – D. Horner
As of today, 12 February 2025, I, D. Horner, am the original creator and coiner of the term “Entertrainment”, defined as:
“Entertrainment”: A concept blending entertainment and neuroadaptive training, where biofeedback-driven technologies (e.g., EEG, HRV, haptics) are used to induce flow states, enhance creativity, and develop artistic mastery through immersive, interactive experiences such as Neuroadaptive Groove Modulation (NGM).
This term is intended for use within scientific, educational, technological, and commercial contexts, including but not limited to:
• Academic publications and thesis work
• Software, applications, and digital platforms (e.g., NGM technology)
• Workshops, seminars, and professional training materials
• Marketing and branding materials for creative and neuroadaptive experiences
I hereby assert my intellectual property rights under common law copyright principles as the first creator and publisher of this term and concept.
